Hastens Beds

What makes a Hasten bed so comfortable?

How Important is sleeping in a Luxurious bed?

Regardless of being asleep or awake we spend a majority of our lives in bed. If you have trouble sleeping, you may not be aware how much your bed may be determining the quality of your sleep.

Majority of people find they sleep better when they travel. There may be a multitude of reasons for this. Being away from the stresses of home and work, peace and quiet, less expectation of being able to sleep or, probably, the bed is Luxurious

War Zone or Cruise Liner

The ideal bed for a good nights sleep relies on a number of factors. Different cultures sleep in different beds, from straw bedding on the floor, to a hammock strung between two trees, to Luxurious Bed. People need a bed that will give you the correct sleeping position and balance, and provide you with a healthy space to sleep.

Professionals believe that a bed should be changed every 8 to 10 years. We sweat an average of half a pint each night and the mattress is a breeding ground for dust mites, which can trigger problems that may affect our health as well as our sleep. Over time wear and tear means the mattress to not be as effective as it was when first purchased all the more reason to routinely examine the condition of your bed.

Size is Important

As we propel into the future, we are constantly running out of space to build and therefore must shrink the size of our homes with a corresponding shrinking of bedroom size. Meanwhile, average body weight is increasing. The standard double bed size is just 2ft 3ins (135cm) leaving each person just 2ft 3ins of space less than a prisoner in jail!

Surprisingly, a lot of the beds sold in this country are still standard size, although king size beds are becoming increasingly popular. Research have shown that couples sleep better in a larger bed. There are a number of reasons for this including the size of each person, sleeping habits and physical limitations such as back or mobility problems. For this reason, it makes sense to check out your bed size when its time to update your bed.

Good Sleep
You probably want to create a comfortable space that will help you sleep. If you or your sleeping partner suffers from back or joint pain, you should pay particular attention to the support of your mattress. It should be neither too hard nor too soft. The best mattress for you should give you support but be able to form to the natural contours of your body.

Getting some Sleep
Estimates show that we spend at least a third of our lives in bed meaning we will have spent 16 years in bed by the time we are 50! Doesn't it make sense to choose cautiously when investing in a new bed.
Tips for Buying Beds
You will sleep better in a bigger bed. If you are buying a double bed consider a king size bed (if space permits).
  • It is vital to consider the support of the mattress, does it match your needs, especially if you suffer from back or joint pain.
  • Check what products your bed and mattress are made from and see if you have allergies or suffer from asthma.
  • Take your time to test before you invest in a new bed.
